Rental Rates

Spring $1295 per week, $150 each additional night more than one week. Three nights for $600. May 16 to June 15.
Summer $2195 per week, $300 each additional night more than one week. June 15 to September 14.
Fall $1295 per week, $150 each additional night more than one week. Three nights for $600. September 16 to October 15.
Winter $995 per week, $100 each additional night. Three nights for $500. October 16 to December 19, January 5 to May 15.
Holidays $1895 per week, $200 each additional night. Christmas and New Years weeks..
Tax Accommodations tax of seven percent will be added to each rental.
Monthly Available monthly, October through May for $2500 per month – no tax on rentals of more than 30 nights.

Details for Angler’s Rest – great Yellowstone area lodgingThis four bedroom Montana vacation home is located on the eastern edge of Livingston, Montana with fabulous views of the Yellowstone River and the rugged Absaroka Mountains to the south, and the Crazy Mountain range to the east. The home has a rustic, western style with use of recycled barnwood and metal in the design. A small creek, actually the North fork of the Yellowstone River, flows right past the deck in the back yard. The creek has beavers, ducks, geese and otter to entertain those who just want to relax on the back deck. Across the creek is a large city park called Mayor’s Landing. For those willing to brave a creek crossing, the main Yellowstone River is within sight and just a two minute walk from the back door. A large beaver dam helps to cross the creek with dry feet!

Bedrooms and bathrooms: There are four bedrooms in the home and four full bathrooms. On the main level of the home is a master bedroom with king size bed and an attached private bath with stall shower. The second bedroom is set up with a twin over double bunk bed, as well as a trundle bed (two single beds). There is a full bath with tub and shower out in the hallway. Upstairs is a second master bedroom with king size bed and attached bath with a double shower. This king size bed may also be separated into two extra long twin beds for more flexible sleeping arrangements. The second upstairs bedroom has a queen size bed and a day bed, and a full bathroom with tub and shower out in the hall. Anglers Rest can accommodate up to ten guests (in eight separate beds plus a pullout sofa). The upper level master bedroom has a private balcony where you can enjoy amazing mountain views from this riverside rental.

Kitchen and dining: The home has a complete kitchen with a gas range and oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and grinder, blender — all the essentials! You will have all the cookware and serving ware you need for your crew. A nice gas grill is out on the deck for barbecues. The dining area is just off the kitchen, with an oak table that seats six to eight comfortably. There are a couple of stools at the kitchen island for overflow. The wrap around deck is set up with plenty of seating for those outdoor meals, as well as a couple of hammocks for an afternoon nap.

Living room: The cozy living room is centered around the fireplace (gas-fired), which makes a great place for relaxing after a day of hiking, fishing or exploring. The living area is set up with a flat screen television with satellite service and DVD player, and a stereo system with CD player. For a quieter evening, head out to the hot tub out back, listen to the creek and do some star-gazing! A wrap around deck with adirondack chairs, cocktail tables and hammock provides plenty of outdoor space to just ‘hang-out.’

Activities nearby: From the back door, those who love to fish the Yellowstone River can try to catch a trout before breakfast, or kids can swim and play in the creek. Anglers Rest is also a bird watcher’s paradise, with eagle, osprey, kingfishers and more in abundance. In addition to the amazing access to the Yellowstone River, from this great location you can walk to downtown Livingston, and it is just a short drive to hiking, biking, rafting, and horseback riding in the summer months, and skiing and snowmobiling in the winter months. The town of Livingston has a great selection of fine and casual dining, plus some nice art galleries to browse- and Bozeman is just 25 minutes away. Yellowstone National Park is just an hour drive away. There’s so much to do!

Other details: No smoking is allowed in the home. This is one of the Montana vacation rentals that IS pet friendly – there is a pet fee and we need to give prior written approval. The home has a private phone, and a washer and dryer, a fully equipped kitchen, high quality linens and towels, and staples like paper goods, laundry, dish and hand soaps.Livingston, MT locationThe home is located on the eastern edge of town. Three blocks away is a great little coffee shop, and the main part of town with shopping and restaurants is 10 to 15 blocks from the house. It is a one hour drive to Yellowstone National Park, and just under an hour to Bozeman’s Gallatin Field airport.

For fishermen or folks that just want to explore, the amazing Boulder and Stillwater River valleys are located to the east within an hour or so. Head west, and the Gallatin, Madison and Missouri River Valleys beckon.
